Modular construction firm Z Modular has hired Lewis “Lew” Lockwood as vice president of operations. In his new role, Lockwood will be responsible for all aspects of operations and project management for current and future Z Modular facilities in the United States.
Lockwood is a veteran of the modular construction industry, with more than 17 years of experience running successful modular facilities and projects across North America. His most recent role was at Champion Modular Inc., where he served as director of construction.
“Lew will be instrumental in growing our business as we continue to expand our reach in the modular construction industry,” said Mickey McNamara, president of Z Modular. “His experience and leadership will allow us to successfully launch more precision modular construction facilities across the United States. I couldn’t be more excited to have Lew be a part of our growing team.”
Lockwood holds a bachelor’s degree in building construction management from Michigan State University. He will be based out of Z Modular’s new offices in Troy, Michigan.
