Liberty Property Trust brings 901 Bilter Road in Aurora to 100 percent occupancy

Liberty Property Trust has completed two leases at Liberty Business Center in Aurora, bringing its 901 Bilter Road (known as Liberty Business Center #7) to 100 percent occupancy. Developed in 2005, the 607,752-square-foot industrial building has been a highly sought-after location since opening for companies seeking to do business in the region.

xpedx has signed a new lease for 316,200 square feet of space in the building. The company will relocate from an existing facility in Glendale Heights and move into the space toward the end of the summer when fit out is complete. The tenant was represented by George Pappas of Hartford Associates.

In addition, long-term tenant Rockpoint Logistics, a division of Logistics Solutions Holdings, has added 72,269 square feet to its lease in the building, bringing its total leased space to 291,552 square feet. The tenant will take possession of the space this summer as well. David Friedland of Newark Knight Frank/Epic represented the tenant.

Jim Estes, Jeff Kapcheck and Mark Bell of Colliers represented Liberty in both transactions.

Liberty Business Center Aurora is located 35 miles from downtown Chicago and one minute from the full interchange at Interstate 88. Completed in the summer of 2005, 901 Bilter Road is a 607,752-square-foot distribution and warehouse with 32-foot clear-height clearance, 80 exterior docks, 62 future docks, 230 trailer parking stalls and parking for employees.
