Liberty SBF recently provided a $1.5M Bridge Loan to the owner of a mixed-use property at Rutgers University in New Jersey, the only non-university building on the campus. In a complex deal, with a non English-speaking borrower who needed to close quick to pay off a matured loan and property taxes, Liberty SBF was able to provide financing on a good property in a prime location.
After the loan closed, the borrower wrote to Liberty SBF about how he appreciated the work to get his deal done: “I must express my undying gratitude and loyalty to you and your exemplary lending institution… You kept me abreast of the process throughout this tenure. You were available after hours by email or by phone…. Although there were paid hired professionals at my side it was you who had the determination and experience in order to bring this transaction to fruition.”
