CBRE’s Chicago office recently represented GLL Real Estate Partners in a 3,052-square-foot lease at 444 N. Michigan Avenue to LIK Fine Art. The Chicago gallery will be world-renowned photographer Peter Lik’s first location in the Midwest.
CBRE’s Todd Siegel and Phil Golding represented GLL in the transaction. David Goldberg of Goldstreet Partners represented LIK Fine Art. “With local, national and international appeal, Chicago’s North Michigan Avenue continues to be one of the most-trafficked luxury retail corridors in the world and this addition further cements the attractiveness of the Chicago market as a whole,” said Golding.
Lik Galleries can be found in some of the world’s most high-profile retail districts; U.S. locations include the SoHo neighborhood of New York City, Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and Lincoln Road in Miami.The Michigan Avenue gallery will house the works of award-winning Australian photographer Peter Lik, who has become one of the world’s most well-known and commercially-successful landscape photographers. This will mark the 16th gallery that Lik has opened worldwide.
