Livonia, Michigan-based Schostak Brothers & Company, Inc. (SBCI), a family-owned real estate and investment company with more than 100 years of history, announced a series of leadership transitions as the organization begins its planned evolution from third-generation to fourth-generation family leadership.
The changes are designed to position SBCI for its next chapter of growth, intended to strengthen alignment across the organization and ensure the company continues building on the foundation of success established by previous generations.
“This is a meaningful milestone in the continued growth of our company,” said David Schostak. “For more than a century, SBCI has adapted to new opportunities while remaining grounded in the values, relationships and entrepreneurial spirit that have defined our business. This thoughtful transition positions the fourth generation to lead the company forward, pursue new opportunities and continue growing the enterprise for generations to come.”
As part of the new leadership structure:
Jeffrey Schostak has been named Chief Executive Officer of Schostak Brothers & Company. In this role, Jeff will lead SBCI’s overall strategy and operations while continuing to oversee the company’s development and acquisition businesses. His focus will include value-add industrial, build-to-suit projects, and the development of SBCI’s existing portfolio.

Josh will lead the retail acquisition & leasing business as well as efforts to identify new business opportunities, asset classes and unique opportunities to grow revenue and position the company for long-term profitable growth.
David Schostak will transition to Executive Chairman. In this role, David will continue providing strategic counsel and guidance informed by his extensive experience leading the family enterprise.
In addition to the Schostak family leadership transitions, Ken Marquette has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting. Marquette has consistently demonstrated strong performance and leadership throughout his tenure with SBCI and will oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions and help guide SBCI’s financial strategy.
