V3 Companies is expanding its environmental practice with the addition of Lori Prokes as director of environmental services.
Under her leadership, V3 will increase its ability to serve the needs of clients in the energy and industrial service markets through the delivery of both consulting and contracting solutions throughout the Great Lakes region, according to Executive Vice President Patrick Kennedy.
Prokes has more than 30 years of experience in the environmental arena, having represented clients as legal counsel on the environmental aspects of business acquisitions, divestitures and real estate transactions, as well as compliance counseling and litigation defense. Lori has corporate experience as both a client and a consultant in CERCLA, RCRA, state voluntary programs and property redevelopment and reuse.
Prior to joining V3, Lori most recently served as President of the Property Redevelopment business unit at DeNovo Group. Her extensive experience also includes holding senior executive positions with Newell Rubbermaid (now Newell Brands), including serving as Assistant General Counsel. In this capacity, she led the global environmental and remediation programs, managing a budget in excess of $12 million.
Prior to that, Lori was a partner with the Schiff Hardin law firm, focusing on the environmental aspects of complex corporate transactions and state voluntary cleanup program projects.
