Louisville-area engineering firm names new project engineer

Adam DePyper

Adam DePyper has joined the New Albany, Indiana, office of engineering firm SME as a project engineer.

DePyper brings nine years of experience providing construction materials services for industrial, commercial, government, medical and transportation projects. He has experience with concrete testing, mix designs, mass earthwork, subgrade stablization, masonry and reinforcing steel inspections.

DePyper also has experience using ground-penetrating radar to identify reinforcing steel, post-tensioned steel and electrical conduit in concrete floors and walls. He has performed locating in hospitals, hotels, parking garages, warehouses and food-processing plants.

Before joining SME, DePyper worked on several notable projects in the area, including the Omni Hotel Louisville, the Ohio River Bridges Project, Fort Knox Medical Clinic and several expansions of the Ford Kentucky truck plant.
