Louisville, Kentucky-based CF Capital hired Alex Terauds as Acquisitions Principal. Terauds brings more than a decade of experience across multifamily investing, capital markets and operational execution.
Most recently, he served as chief investment officer and partner at Sunset Property Solutions, where he helped scale a scattered-site owner-operator into a private equity platform, doubling assets under management and leading more than $120 million in acquisitions. Earlier, he spent nearly eight years with The Connor Group in a senior leadership role overseeing acquisition underwriting, debt strategy and portfolio optimization for a multibillion-dollar multifamily platform. During that time, he executed more than $1.7 billion in dispositions and acquisitions and helped launch a preferred debt fund.
At CF Capital, Terauds will work closely with the firm’s leadership and acquisition team to evaluate new investment opportunities and ultimately lead the acquisition vertical and help advance CF Capital’s disciplined, fundamentals-driven strategy.
