Columbus, Ohio-based architecture and planning firm M+A Architects recently completed design work on The Ashford at Sturbridge, a $12 million affordable senior living project in Hillard, Ohio.
Located at 3700 Sturbridge Court in Hillard, The Ashford at Sturbridge is one of 400 affordable housing communities that Wallick has developed. With 124 studio and one-bedroom units that will be able to house around 155 residents, the new facility offers both assisted and independent senior living options.
“Sturbridge is definitely ahead of the curve, setting the precedence for value-driven service. Innovative financial structures and operating models, along with thoughtfully designed communities, are needed to provide care and housing options for the over 14 million middle-income seniors projected by 2029,” said Russ Garber, Director of M+A’s Senior Living Studio and lead designer, in a written statement.
