Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of a 20-unit apartment property located in Brookfield, Illinois, according to Steven D. Weinstock, regional manager and first vice president of the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Andrean Angelov, first vice president investments, Ryan D. Engle, senior vice president investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, represented the seller and the buyer, both private investors.
The property is located at 3400 Maple Avenue in Brookfield, near 31st Avenue and La Grange Road, both major thoroughfares, with several retail and dining options for residents. Additionally, the property is located one mile from Brookfield Zoo and is within close proximity to numerous golf courses and parks.
The unit mix is comprised of six one-bedroom/one-bathroom units, twelve two-bedroom/one-bathroom units and two two-bedroom/one-bathroom units with a den measuring approximately 750, 950 and 1,100 square feet, respectively. The property features ample off-street parking, an on-site laundry facility, and one storage space per unit.
