Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of Rivers Edge Apartments, a 36-unit apartment property located in Kankakee, Illinois, according to Steven D. Weinstock, regional manager of the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office.
Ryan D. Engle, a senior vice president investments, Andrean Angelov, a first vice president investments, and Bryan W. Kunze, an associate, in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office represented both the seller and buyer.
Rivers Edge Apartments is located at 991 N. River Drive. The unit mix is comprised of 20 one-bedroom/one-bathroom units, four two-bedroom/one-bathroom units and 12 two-bedroom/two-bathroom units. The property features an elevator, balconies or patios for each unit, ample off-street parking and an on-site laundry facility. The location provides convenient access to Interstate 57 as well as the Kankakee Amtrak station located just one and one-half miles away.
