Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has completed the sale of Countryside Office Park, a 93,648-square-foot office property located in Palatine. The asset sold for $1.1 million.
John Abuja, Rich Merryman and Bill Schofield, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago offices, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller.
Countryside Office Park is located at 1210-1278 W. Northwest Highway. Built in 1972, the building was originally used as retail space but eventually converted to office use. Situated on a 7.72 acre site, the building is landscaped with mature trees and shrubs and is considered in good condition with 74 percent occupancy.
The construction consists of wood framing with a brick veneer facade with a ballasted EPDM single-ply membrane over rigid insulation and steel roof decking. The property includes 465 parking spaces, for a parking ratio of 5.01 spaces per 1,000 square feet.
