Marcus & Millichap arranges sale of Elgin apartment building

Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of an eight-unit apartment property located in Elgin, Illinois, according to Steven D. Weinstock, regional manager of the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office. The asset sold for $545,000.

Andrean Angelov, first vice president investments, and Ryan D. Engle, senior vice president investments, in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller. The buyer was represented by Angelov and Engle along with Christopher Malay, an associate, and Eric P. Bell, senior managing director investments, in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office.

Located at 1635 Maple Lane, the property is located approximately two miles from the Elgin Metra station and within walking distance to Pace Bus stops. The unit mix is comprised of all two-bedroom/one-bathroom units. The property features ample off-street parking and an on-site laundry facility.
