Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of Sherwin Williams | Sleepy’s – Walmart Outlot, a 7,000-square-foot retail property located in Antioch, Illinois, according to Steven D. Weinstock, First vice president and regional manager of the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office. The asset sold for $2,620,000.
Sean R. Sharko and Austin Weisenbeck, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company.
Sherwin Williams | Sleepy’s – Walmart Outlot sold at 95 percent of original list price. This two-tenant center is located on the hard, northwest corner of Illinois Route 173 and Deep Lake Road (State Road 36) showing a combined traffic count of nearly 25,000 vehicles driving past daily. The property is situated as an outlot to Wal-Mart Supercenter, in the recently developed retail corridor of Antioch. There is an ALDI grocery store located across the street and several well-known retailers immediately surrounding the property including; Arby’s, Payless Shoes, Jimmy John’s Sandwiches, GameStop and Menard’s, to name a few.
