Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Lynwood Apartments, a 23-unit apartment property located in Round Lake, Illinois, according to Steven D. Weinstock, regional manager and first vice president of the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Andrean Angelov, first vice president, and Ryan D. Engle, senior managing director, and Timothy B. Stephenson Jr., associate, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer, a private investor, was secured and represented by Angelov and Engle.
Lynwood Apartments is located at 930 W. Rollins Road in Round Lake with convenient access to Route 59, Route 83 and Interstate 94. Public transportation is readily available at the Long Lake and Round Lake Metra Stations, which are both approximately two and one-half miles from the subject property. The property is positioned on Rollins Road, a major street holding a strong concentration of major retail stores, markets, restaurants and shopping centers. The property consists of an 11-unit and a 12-unit apartment building and features ample off-street parking and on-site laundry facilities.
