Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of Citizen Self-Storage, a 527-unit self-storage property in Clarklake, Michigan.
The property was sold through an online live bid auction sale conducted by Marcus & Millichap.
Andreas Makris and Kevin Bledsoe, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s King of Prussia office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller. The agents collaborated with Ian Grusd, CCIM, SIOR, of Marcus & Millichap’s auction services to market the asset and assist in securing the buyer. Steve Chaben is the firm’s broker of record in Michigan.
Citizens Self-Storage is located at 9416 S. Meridian Road in Clarklake, along U.S. Route 127, which sees approximately 18,000 vehicles per day. Built in 2023 on nearly 20 acres, the facility comprises 106,780 net rentable square feet across 381 drive-up units, 88 interior non-climate-controlled units, 58 climate-controlled units and 32 parking spaces. The site also features two commercial warehouses and approximately 3.5 acres of land available for boat and RV storage.
