Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Fortress Storage Center, a two-property self-storage portfolio totaling 729 units and 85,150 rentable square feet in Rockport and Victoria, Texas.
Mixson Staffel, Dave Knobler and Charles “Chico” LeClaire, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Denver and Houston offices, represented the seller in the transaction.
The portfolio includes Fortress Storage Center at 205 State Highway 35 South in Rockport, which features 337 units and 37,700 rentable square feet, and Fortress Storage Center at 4901 Houston Highway in Victoria, which comprises 392 units and 47,450 rentable square feet. Both facilities offer climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled storage, gated access, video surveillance and on-site management offices. The Victoria property also includes an on-site manager’s residence.
