Marcus & Millichap recently closed the sale of Northside Self Storage, a 35,910-square-foot self-storage facility in Jackson, Michigan.
Located at 3160 Lansing Ave., the facility consists of 343 drive-up storage units on 5.13 acres. Completed in phases beginning in 1994, the property was built and operated by the seller.
Tom Berlin, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Detroit office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company, and facilitated the transaction for the seller and buyer.
The facility was purchased by an out-of-state investment group that is building a multi-state self-storage portfolio.
