Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of the Southridge retail center, a 37,930-square-foot neighborhood shopping center in Overland Park, Kansas. The $12.2 million sales price equates to $322 per square foot.
The property was purchased by Los Angeles-based Highpoint Capital Group LLC. This is Highpoint’s first purchase in Overland Park, but the company plans to add more Kansas and Southeast properties to its portfolio. The seller is a local developer, Carson Development.
Built in 2008 and 2009, the Southridge retail center is located at the northwest corner of Metcalf Avenue and West 121st Street in Overland Park. It is shadow-anchored by a Costco in the 119th Street Corridor.
