Marcus & Millichap sells 52-unit apartment building

Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has brokered the sale of a multifamily portfolio consisting of three properties in Rockford. The asset commanded a sales price of $800,000.

James Clough, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a Chicago based lender.  The buyer, a private investor, was secured and represented by Edward Liss and Eric Bell, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago O’Hare office.

The asset is located at 3432 Harrison Ave. in Rockford. The properties have a combined total of 52 units, consisting of two one-bed/one-bath, 22 two-bed/one-bath, 16 two bed/one-bath townhomes, and 12 three-bed/1.5-bath townhomes.
