Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has completed the sale of Great American Storage Solutions, a 52,375 net rentable square foot self-storage facility located in Lansing.
Sean Delaney, a vice president investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office and director in the firm’s National Self Storage Group, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer, Amsdell Storage Ventures XIV LLC, a part of the Amsdell group of companies, was also procured by Delaney. Compass Self Storage LLC, also an Amsdell company, will operate the property.
Great American Storage Solutions located at 2556 Bernice Road in Lansing, opened in 2008 and is comprised of 532 storage units of which 428 are climate controlled. Amenities include an office with retail center, drive-up and climate controlled units, Janus roll-up doors, video surveillance, separate entry and exit gates and PTI digital keypad access for both the gates as well as the climate controlled building.
