Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of a 17,873-square-foot net-leased Piggly Wiggly grocery store in Poynette, Wisconsin. The property sold for $2 million.
Jeff R. Rowlett, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Milwaukee office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer, a limited liability company, was also secured by Rowlett.
Piggly Wiggly is located at 621 N US Highway 51 in Poynette. The property was built in 1998 as a build-to-suit for Piggly Wiggly. Its lease was recently extended 10 years through February 29, 2028.
Piggly Wiggly Poynette is the only grocery store in Poynette and the only grocery store with 12 miles.
