Mark Palmer

Mark Palmer Senior Vice President, Office Properties CBRE St. Louis

Since joining CBRE in 1981, Mark Palmer, a senior vice president for office properties in the company’s St. Louis office, has crafted a reputation as one of the top office brokers in his Midwest city.

This reputation is based on service. Palmer is known by his peers for working tirelessly for his clients. He also possesses a deep knowledge of his market. This combination helps ensure that Palmer’s clients end up with the best possible deals on their commercial real estate transactions.

This helps explain why Palmer boasts such an impressive list of clients, clients who are invariably loyal to this industry veteran.

Palmer works with such big names as AT&T, Boeing and CitiMortgage. He also represents the owners of St. Louis’ most exclusive office buildings, including The Plaza in Clayton, Mo.

Palmer has closed several significant office assignments during his time at CBRE. These assignments inclue 1.2 million square feet for AT&T, 400,000 square feet on behalf of CITI Mortgage and 225,000 square feet for Boeing Realty Corporation. Palmer has also helped such business giants as SBC, First Bank and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage find the right office space in the St. Louis area.

Palmer’s work ethic and skill has meant that he’s kept his clients happy, and has kept his business thriving, during even the darkest days of the commercial real estate industry’s slump. Palmer proves the wisdom of developing strong relationships; they help the top commercial real estate pros survive even the most challenging of real estate markets.

Peers, then, are little surprised that Palmer continues to thrive. They’re not surprised, either, that Palmer has picked up so many prestigious awards during his long career.

For instance, he is a multiple winner of the National Colbert Coldwell Circle Award from CBRE. This award goes to the company’s top producers each year. Palmer has also earned entry to the CBRE Chairman’s Club in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, and was named Commercial Realtor — Associate of the Year by the St. Louis Association of Realtors.
