Tishman Speyer announced that it has signed Ipsos, the third largest market research company in the world, to a 58,000-square-foot lease at The Franklin in Chicago’s West Loop.

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, The Franklin is considered one of Chicago’s most architecturally significant properties. The complex consists of two connected buildings at 222 West Adams Street and 227 West Monroe Street totaling nearly 2.5 million square feet, making it one of the city’s largest and most distinctive Class A commercial office locations.

Ipsos will occupy the 11th floor, which spans the property’s two towers, in May 2022.  The firm is relocating from 222 South Riverside,

Ipsos will enjoy a number of amenities and major capital improvements that were completed before the pandemic. These include the upscale cafe Rustle + Roux which boasts seven kitchens of culinary offerings; Studio, an inspiring shared workspace offering flexible desks and suites; a renovated state-of-the-art conference center with capacity for 300; a full-service, on-site fitness center; an exclusive full bar and event venue R29; L44 Sky Lobby and event venue; and a modernized lobby with a 30-foot-tall light installation by renowned artist Leo Villareal. In addition, employees will have access to Tishman Speyer’s popular ZO suite of lifestyle, convenience and amenity service offerings.

Ipsos was represented in the transaction by Steve Schneider, Andy Heyman and Chris Helgesen of Cushman & Wakefield. Tishman Speyer’s Ellen May and Carey Spignese represented building ownership.
