City Club Apartments has executed a lease for a 10,000-square-foot European-inspired specialty market and a 1,000-square-foot wellness café on the first floor of its City Club Apartments CBD Cincinnati apartment and penthouse community at the corner of Third and Vine in Cincinnati.
The 11-story, 300,000-square-foot 1928 building sits on the former site of The Burnet Hotel, known for hosting President-elect Lincoln on his inaugural journey to Washington D.C.
The market and café, which are scheduled to open in early 2019, will observe the zero-waste movement happening throughout European cities like Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Paris, Rome and London and will feature locally sourced meats, dairy and produce from the Ohio River Valley and regional freshwater fish from the Great Lakes.
The wellness café will feature a healthy menu as well as house-made teas, tonics, sodas and waters. The café’s custom-fabricated brewing system will support its gin botanical bar, which will integrate juniper, licorice, elderflower, lilac and rosemary among others. Organic, natural and bio-dynamic wines from small growers around the world will also be available.
City Club Apartments CBD Cincinnati completed construction in September and is about 75 percent leased. The community includes 294 apartments and penthouses with 50 distinct floor plans, four finish packages, custom closets, kitchens, cabinets and fixtures and a 6,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant and bar with outdoor dining.
It also features a 24-hour concierge, underground valet parking, Sky Club, Sky Park, Bark Park, tranquil Zen Garden, indoor and outdoor movie theaters, rooftop pool and hot tub, wellness center, conference and business center and fiber technology.
