Marquette Companies acquired Aurora at Summerfield, a 368-unit apartment community located near highly-rated schools and key commuter corridors in Chicago’s western suburb of Aurora, Illinois.

Marquette Management will serve as property manager for the community, which is currently 97% occupied.

Located at 1847 Clubhouse Drive, just off Ogden Avenue, Aurora at Summerfield comprises 26 two- and three-story residential buildings with a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with one to two baths. Two-story lofted townhomes comprise 24% of the units.

Centrally located between Aurora and Naperville, the community is conveniently situated just south of the I-88 technology corridor, which is home to many Fortune 500 companies, ensuring a steady source of employment. Residents also are in proximity to major suburban thoroughfares, and Metra train stations are just a 10-minute drive away, providing easy commutes to Chicago and other suburbs.

Aurora at Summerfield residents are just 10 to 15 minutes from charming and vibrant suburban downtowns, offering a mix of boutique shopping, gourmet dining and rich cultural experiences. The property is close to scenic parks and diverse recreational facilities and in the highly rated Oswego School District #308, which ranks in the top 12% in Illinois.

Apartments at the pet-friendly community include stainless steel appliances and Shaker-style white cabinetry in kitchens, vaulted ceilings, in-unit washers and dryers, walk-in closets and private patios.

A clubhouse anchors the property’s amenities, which include a business center with conference room, fitness center and resident lounge. Outdoor amenities feature a pool with sundeck, grilling stations with seating areas and a playground.
