The Best Western Blackwell Inn, managed by Wichita, Kansas-based Martens Companies, received the Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ Charmain’s Award, the brand’s highest honor for quality services. This recognition comes after the hotel received the company’s M.K. Guertin Award in 2017.
The Chairman’s Award honors Best Western’s top 5 percent out of 2,100 North American properties. Scores are determined by cleanliness, maintenance inspection scores, design and customer service.
The Best Western Blackwell Inn, located in Blackwell, Oklahoma, is one of three Best Western brand hotels managed by Hospitality Management LLC, a division of Martens Companies. The company will also manage the Best Western Plus West Lawrence at Rock Chalk Park once construction is finished.
