Benjamin Kadish, president of Chicago’s Maverick Commercial Mortgage, recently originated $10.35 million in first-mortgage debt for a four-property portfolio in the CBD of Evansville, Ind.
The properties include three office buildings and one multi-family property. The multi-family property, known as Kunkel Square, is a 12-story building with 50 units and 6,400 square feet of commercial space.
The Court Building is a seven-story, 43,065-square-foot multi-tenant office building across from the former Evansville courthouse. Fendrich Plaza, built in 1987, is a 33,082-square-foot single-story multi-tenant Class-B office building. A state of Indiana governmental agency occupies 21,500 square feet of this property.
The Hulman Building, built in 1930 and renovated in 1999, is a 70,757-square-foot 10-story multi-tenant office building in the Evansville CBD.
