Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) executive managing director Gregory Kirsch, has been selected as one of Chain Store Age magazine’s top 10 power brokers for 2015.
The top ten power brokers were selected based on their total number of retail real estate transactions in 2014, the dollar value of those transactions and overall reputation in the industry.
Kirsch is a skilled retail broker and renowned leader in the industry. He is known in his firm for his unmatched technical skills, market knowledge and experience completing myriad transactions in nearly every market in Chicago. In 2014, he completed two of the largest transactions on Michigan Avenue: Walgreens at the Wrigley Building and Under Armour at 600 N. Michigan Avenue.
Kirsch joined Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Chicago office in 2008 as a principal and was promoted to executive managing director in 2013. As executive managing director for Retail in the Midwest, he leads one of the top NGKF teams in the nation and is one of the top retail brokers in the firm. With over 18 years of industry experience, Kirsch represents tenants and landlords on a local, regional and national level. He represents many of the company’s most prestigious tenants and works closely with numerous luxury, fashion, restaurant and high-street retail clients including Benihana, FedEx Office, Kendra Scott, Pret a Manger, Under Armour and Vineyard Vines. He also currently manages the leasing for two of Chicago’s landmark properties on Michigan Avenue, the Wrigley Building and the John Hancock Center.
