MB Real Estate announced that the firm’s Senior Vice President Michael Hull has completed a 105,437 square foot lease renewal for the headquarters of Komatsu America Corp. in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
Located within Continental Tower I at 1701 Golf Road in the Northwest suburb of Chicago, Komatsu America Corp. is a U.S. subsidiary of Komatsu Ltd., the world’s second largest manufacturer and supplier of earth-moving equipment, consisting of construction, mining and compact construction equipment. Komatsu America also serves forklift and forestry markets. The firm operates its U.S. headquarters from the Rolling Meadows location and also maintains a world headquarters in Tokyo, Japan as well as locations within over 150 countries around the world.
“After an extensive search of the marketplace, our analysis determined that Komatsu’s current offices provided the most advantageous solution for the client’s requirements at this time,” said Hull. “We were able to secure favorable terms on behalf of the client and keep a location conducive to its employee base.”
Hull, senior vice president of MB Real Estate’s Corporate Services and Tenant Advisory group, represented Komatsu America Corp. in the lease renewal and Dave Trumpy of GlenStar Properties represented ownership.
