MB Real Estate announced that 181 West Madison will host a Horse of Honor. The horse located at the firm’s headquarter building is named after fallen officer Clifton P. Lewis.
Officer Lewis, 41, was an eight-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department, assigned to the 015 District – Tactical Team. On the night of December 29, 2011, Officer Lewis was working his second job as a security guard at a convenience store when two men entered to rob the store. Officer Lewis was subsequently shot and succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
The Horse of Honor on display at 181 W. Madison in his memory was painted by the artist, CJ Hungerman. The Horse will be on display through Mid-November.
