MB Real Estate has been awarded management and leasing for 208 S. LaSalle, located at the corner of LaSalle and Adams streets, on behalf of property owner UST Prime.
The last building to be designed by Daniel Burnham in 1911, 208 S. LaSalle was the most expensive new development and Chicago’s tallest building for the time. Originally a banking complex, the 355,411-square-foot, 20-story landmark property was recently renovated and features the JW Marriott on the first 12 floors, with office space on floors 13 through 20.
Tenants at the property have access to a number of amenities provided through the JW Marriott including the lobby lounge, the Florentine Restaurant, a spa and fitness center. The building also offers security, updated technology and fiber optics, group meeting and event spaces as well as dry cleaning.
MB Real Estate’s Mark Buth, executive vice president and managing director of leasing services, and Jesse Slack, assistant vice president, are the leasing agents for the property.
