MBG is celebrating progress on a rehabilitation facility it is building that blends the best of the hospitality industry with advanced technology to improve patient outcomes. The firm is targeting an August completion of the St. Louis area’s first Ignite Medical Resort, which is taking shape in St. Peters, Missouri.

On March 13, MBG hosted a celebratory luncheon for its 70-person workforce on the project which is now under roof with interior work underway.
Located on a five-acre site at 5101 Executive Centre Parkway, the Ignite Medical Resort is a single-story, 60,000-square-foot-facility, with 69 private rooms and 12 semi-private rooms. With elements of high-end hospitality of a 5-star luxury resort, it creates a high-acuity, customer service-focused, tech-savvy advanced care model called “LuxeRehab.”
The facility’s distinctive features include a blue and white veneer façade with stone skirting, white vinyl windows and a hipped roof. The main entry conveys the luxury resort with an inviting portico leading to a well-appointed lobby with couches, a reception desk with concierge, café and large windows revealing a landscaped courtyard. The courtyard features community gathering space with seating and fire pits, sidewalks and gravel paths to help rehab patients improve walking on uneven surfaces.
The facility includes two elegant dining rooms and a full commercial kitchen where chefs prepare exquisite meals. It also features a salon.
Rehabilitation services deploy the latest technology. In addition, it features a mock home with a full kitchen, laundry and bathroom where patients are taught and evaluated on readiness to return to independent living.
The facility is served by 127 parking spaces.
Ignite Medical Resort operates 25 facilities across 6 states specializing in short-term rehabilitation for a variety of medical needs. They provide state-of-the-art physical, occupational, and speech therapy 7 days a week.
The project is the first in St. Louis for Indianapolis-based Leo Brown Group, a full-service real estate development and solutions company, primarily focused on the senior living, multifamily housing, and healthcare industries.
