MBRE promotes two to senior project managers

MB Real Estate Services Inc. has promoted project services’ team members, Robbie Joseph and Brian Toenjes from project managers to senior project managers.

Joseph joined MBRE in 2014, bringing nearly four decades of experience in project management and construction to the team. He specializes in healthcare and medical office projects and is the lead project manager for MBRE Healthcare. He is currently working on numerous projects throughout the country with a collective construction value of over $190 million. Prior to joining MBRE, Joseph worked with firms including CBRE, Navigant and AMDC in Chicago and completed more than $1 billion in healthcare projects. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

Toenjes, with MBRE since 2009, has more than 18 years of experience in construction and development services. In the past six years, he has managed more than 1.4 million square feet, or $375 million, of construction projects, including development and build-outs for Astellas Pharma US, General Board, Rhinodox, Conyers MOB and Chicago Public Schools HQ. Prior to MBRE, Toenjes led hospitality construction projects for Mid-America Development where he managed the successful $39 million, phased renovation of the Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg, Illinois. Toenjes received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Bradley University.
