St. Louis-based MC Industrial will manage the design and construction of Ameren Missouri’s multi-million-dollar project to build Missouri’s largest investor-owned solar energy center. The facility will be located in O’Fallon, Mo.
MC Industrial is responsible for all engineering, procurement and construction functions.
Construction on the solar energy center is scheduled to begin in April, and is expected to begin delivering power to Ameren Missouri customers by December of 2014.
The O’Fallon Renwewable Energy Center will be capable of generating 5.7 megawatts of power, enough electricity to power 650 average homes in the St. Louis area.
