Footwear retailer DSW Inc. will open its fourth Milwaukee-area retail location, this one at the Calhoun Crossing retail center in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
HSA Commercial is the develoepr and one of the owners of the retail center.
DSW executed a 17,350-square-foot lease to co-anchor the shopping center along with Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. DSW plans to begin its interior build-out in the late summer of 2016, with a planned opening in the spring of 2017.
The existing shopping center at the northwest corner of Bluemound Road and Calhoun Road, which was previously called Plaza 173, will be completely gut renovated, and ownership plans to add all-new entry porticos to enhance the street presence and visibility of tenant storefronts and signage.
A joint real estate fund formed by Innovative Capital Advisors and HSA Commercial Real Estate owns the shopping center.
