McCarthy Building Companies will break ground May 7 on the new CHI Ambulatory Building, part of the new academic complex for Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.
The $35 million, 80,000-square-foot facility will feature a team-based approach to health care, education and the community in one location.
McCarthy serves as construction manager and general contractor for the new ambulatory building, which will house the region’s first free-standing emergency department and outpatient and diagnostic services.
The complex is scheduled to open in late 2016.
