McCollom Realty, Evo Development join forces to develop new shopping center in Milwaukee area

Oak Park, Ill.-based McCollom Realty and Milwaukee-based Evo Development have joined forces to develop a new shopping center in the village of West Milwaukee.

Construction on the new center began in July. The center will include about 13,000 square feet of new retail space and a drive-through on its north end.

For years, the site — located on the east side of Miller Park Way between National Avenue and Greenfield Avenue — was home to Wisconsin Vending and Aramark Vending. Aramark, though, moved its offices and vending facility from the location in 2005. The building was demolished that same year, and the land has remained vacant since.

Tenants who have signed leases for the new site include a drive-through Starbucks, Wisconsin Vision, ATI Physical Therapy, Jersey Mike’s Subs and a Qdoba Mexican Grill.

A tentative completion date for the project is set for early November.
