McColly Bennett Commercial helped close the sale of Hind General Hospital in Hobart, Indiana, to Franciscan Alliance, Inc. for an undisclosed purchase price.
Michael Siwietz and Jeff Bennett of McColly Bennett and Steve Malley of Lee & Associates in San Diego facilitated the sale on behalf of Hanmi Bank.
Situated on 17 acres at the southwest corner of 61st Avenue and Lake Park Avenue, the single-story, 35,000-square-foot property originally was built in 1989 as Charter Hospital, a mental health facility. More recently, in 2004, it was reconfigured as Hind General Hospital, an acute care surgical center. The property, however, has been vacant since 2014.
Located at the southwest corner of 61st Avenue and Lake Park Avenue, the property is south of the St. Mary Medical Center in the City of Hobart’s medical corridor.
