In another sign of the recovering commercial real estate market, Kansas City’s McCownGordon Construction is opening a new office in Manhattan, Kan.
“We have a number of both public and private Kansas projects, and increasing our proximity to those clients will allow us to continue to provide a high level of customer service and become more engaged within those communities,” said Ramin Cherafat, chief operating officer of McCownGordon, in a written statement.
Todd Knight, regional manager with the company, will lead the office.
McCownGordon is serving a number of clients in Kansas, with projects including Prairiefire at LionsGate in Overland Park, the College of Engineering expansion at Kansas State University in Manhattan and the Kansas Department of Agriculture Administrative Building also in Manhattan.
