BJC HealthCare has hired McGrath & Associates as general contractor on a $1.2 million renovation of the Breast HealthCare Center at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. Construction began in May and will be complete in January of 2015. OWH is the architect.
The 12,000-square-foot renovation will expand the sixth floor Breast HealthCare Center and improve the patient experience with enhanced aesthetics and service flow. McGrath will renovate the existing space and an adjacent doctors’ suite.
The breast health suite will remain operational throughout the renovation. McGrath is phasing the project and will implement strict isolation and infection prevention measures to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
