Jeffrey A. Raday, P.E., President of McShane Construction Company, announced that the firm has been selected by developer, High Street Residential, the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, and joint venture partner of The Carlyle Group, to complete Park 205. This luxury 115-unit multi-family development is located on a 3.6-acre infill site at 205 Touhy Avenue in Park Ridge, Illinois, adjacent to the recently constructed Whole Foods Market and minutes from Uptown Park Ridge offering a variety of retail, restaurant and entertainment options.
This premier location is situated just five miles from O’Hare International Airport and within minutes of major expressways including Interstate 294, Interstate 94 and Interstate 90 in addition to its proximity to the Park Ridge Metra Station.
The new three-story complex will be constructed utilizing a unique blend of exterior finishes including brick, metal panels and Hardie Panel accented by pre-finished aluminum balconies. Park 205 will incorporate 65 one-bedroom, 47 two-bedroom and three (3) three-bedroom units offering a mix of 28 different configurations. Each unit will feature contemporary fixtures and finishes such as quartz countertops, stainless steel Energy Star appliances and in-unit washers and dryers. Resident parking will be available within a secure and heated below-grade garage providing 164 spaces. Additional surface parking will accommodate 34 vehicles.
The development will also feature an array of tenant amenities within its community clubhouse and three artfully landscaped courtyards. McShane Construction is completing the project to meet LEED for Homes certification representing the first development of its kind to be completed within the City of Park Ridge. McShane will also complete the project’s sitework including sidewalks, driveways, parking and landscaping.
