Greystar selected McShane Construction company to complete Elan Yorktown, a new luxury apartment community in Lombard, Illinois.
The upscale multifamily property is under construction on a six-acre parcel at 50 Yorktown Shopping Center. This is McShane’s second assignment from Greystar.
The four-story development will have high-quality construction and be finished in a combination of brick veneer, cast stone, fiber cement and longboard siding façade. An attached four-story, 336-car parking garage will wrap within the residential component. In total there will be 295 units which will include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations.
The apartment community will feature four exterior courtyards, a fitness center, a golf simulator room, theater room, library, event spaces and club room with a pool table, fireplace and full kitchen. The club room will have direct access to the outdoor swimming pool, grilling stations and furnished cabanas with flat screen tvs.
The property will also have an attractive entrance with landscaping, a central fountain and pathways.
