Scott J. Hoppa, Senior Vice President of McShane Construction Company‘s Southeast Region, announced that the firm has been selected by developer and long-standing client, Continental Properties, Inc., to complete Springs at Memorial in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The new 224-unit luxury apartment complex is being constructed on a 12.5-acre infill parcel at 13331 North MacArthur Boulevard. McShane broke ground in August with scheduled completion slated for Third Quarter 2015.
The new apartment development will be comprised of 10 residential buildings with six of the buildings incorporating attached parking garages on the ground level. The garden style complex will offer a balance of unit configurations including 32 studios, 80 one-, 92 two- and 20 three-bedroom residences. Each apartment will feature contemporary fixtures and finishes such as granite countertops in the kitchens and bathrooms, modern appliances and in-unit washers and dryers.
As part of the project, McShane Construction will also complete a fully-featured community clubhouse with a 24-hour fitness center and outdoor swimming pool surrounded by seating and entertainment areas. Additional on-site tenant amenities underway by the firm include a leash-free dog park and a car care center.
Exterior finishes of the residential buildings will incorporate high-efficiency siding while the clubhouse will feature an artful blend of both siding and stone accents. McShane Construction will also complete the development’s sitework including sidewalks, landscaping and generous on-side parking for 367 vehicles.
