Memphis, Tennessee-based Poag Shopping Centers, in the wake of the recently announced strategic partnership with JLL, the firm has rebranded its company name to Poag Development Group.

“At a time when retail is all too often an afterthought in a mixed-use project, Poag Development Group’s unmatched expertise in creating and optimizing memorable and profitable retail environments is more critical than ever,” said Josh Poag, chief executive officer of Poag Development Group. “I couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter in the Poag legacy, homing in on our development and redevelopment expertise, to continue to create the retail and mixed-use projects of the future that set the standard for excellence in the industry.”

Poag maintains a strategic and synergistic mixed-use development partnership with JLL, the largest third-party retail property management company in North America. That alliance enables Poag to continue focusing on its award-winning development and redevelopment services both within the JLL portfolio and beyond, while tapping into JLL’s expertise on management and leasing.

Poag Development Group’s current roster of development projects includes the reimagining of Somerset Square in Glastonbury, Connecticut; the redevelopment of Rosedale Center in Roseville, Minnesota; and the retail portion of the Rise in Cupertino, California.
