CASTO recently announced that Menards has purchased 20 acres of land at Columbus Corporate Center, located on the east side of Columbus, Ohio.
The move means that there are now an additional five acres for retail uses available for lease or sale at the site.
“In an environment where activity has been difficult, we feel CASTO’s strong relationships and retail development expertise is what facilitated the ultimate sale of this ground to Menards, as well as the associated entitlements,” said Don Casto, Partner at CASTO.
According to Menards, construction on the company’s 160,000-square-foot store will begin later this spring. This will be the second Menards location in Columbus. The first location, situated at Northland, is scheduled to open this spring.
