Meridian Design Build was selected by Scannell Properties to design and construct a 219,858 square foot automated package sorting and distribution center in Chicago, Illinois, for a leading provider of global shipping and information services.
The project will include compaction and engineered ground improvements necessary to support the construction of three new buildings on site.
It will accommodate 452 auto parking stalls, 301 trailer storage positions and the main building design will include 61 loading docks, 156 interior van loading positions and 8,153 square feet of office space.
Architectural services are provided by Cornerstone Architects. Civil engineering work will be completed by Spaceco, Inc.
