Meridian Design Build recently broke ground on a 673,920-square-foot speculative industrial building for Exeter Property Group in Edwardsville, Illinois, in the St. Louis market. The new facility is located on a 135-acre parcel within the Gateway Commerce Center at the intersection of I-270/I-255.
The 36-foot clear multi-tenant building is designed to accommodate up to 132 loading docks, four drive-in doors, 398 auto parking stalls and 171 exterior trailer stalls. Meridian will be completing park infrastructure improvements as part of the project, including mass grading work and construction of centralized detention facilities and common area roadways.
Architectural services are being provided by JRA Architecture. Civil engineering work is being completed by Stock & Associates Consulting Engineers.
