Meridian Design Build’s National Projects Group on Sept. 17 celebrated the ground-breaking for a 72,500-square-foot Hyatt Place Hotel in Bowling Green, Ken.
The new hotel will rise next to Western Kentucky University’s Augenstein Alumni Center.
Meridian is completing the four-story, 108-room hotel on a design-build basis. The hotel will include an outdoor pool, fitness center and meeting rooms. It is scheduled to open in the fall of 2014.
Development manager Dellisart LLC will oversee the operations of the new hotel.
