Meridian Design Build completed construction on a build-to-suit for a North American provider of LTL freight services on a 43-acre site at 2955 Allen Road in Greenwood, Indiana.
Scannell Properties was the developer for the project.
The project included construction of a 125-door cross-docked truck terminal with 123 loading positions and 11,000 square feet of office/support space.
The site is paved to accommodate 350 employee/driver parking stalls, 219 trailer storage positions 175 tractor stalls and 247 van stalls. Other site improvements include a 3,200-square-foot fuel/lubrication island, guard house, heavy-duty truck scale and 181 block heaters.
Meridian completed the project on a design/build basis with Bill Thomas Architect providing architectural design services and American Structurepoint handling the civil engineering design.
